Nathan Sawaya, born on July 10, 1973, in Colville, Washington, and raised in Veneta, Oregon, is a pioneering artist known for his innovative use of LEGO® bricks in contemporary art. He studied at New York University, earning both a bachelor's degree and a law degree. After a brief legal career at Winston & Strawn in Hollywood, he made a bold decision in 2004 to leave law behind and fully embrace his passion for art.
Sawaya's unique sculptures and large-scale mosaics have captivated audiences worldwide, transforming simple LEGO bricks into extraordinary works of art.
