Description
Probably Rhode Island or Connecticut, ca. 1780.
Mahogany, secondary wood pine.
Condition: missing a few brackets, early repair to swing-leg hinge, lid hinges replaced, other minor imperfections.
In a desirable compact small size, the molded, serpentine shaped top overhangs a straight front with beaded edge Chippendale legs. The swing leg opens revealing a small secret drawer. Retains original pierced knee brackets. -
