-
Description
This Brazilian modern chair was designed by Carlo Hauner & Martin Eisler and is absolutely beautiful. The structure is made with an iron frame and the seat is made with cane. The legs of the chair are very slim and the seat is rounded and angled back, which makes it super comfortable. The sleek and clean design allows it to be added to any home interior. In addition, the chair has been refinished and is now in excellent condition.
Carlo Hauner (1927-1997) and Martin Eisler (1913-1977) were the primary designers for the iconic Brazilian furniture company Forma. Hauner’s and Eisler’s designs are characterized by the use of Brazilian woods, thin tubular frames, and range from furniture, to ceramics and textiles. Their narrative spans through four countries (Italy, Austria, Brazil, and Argentina) and several decades, and their exceptional works are already highly sought-after examples of the vibrant modern design movement in Latin America.
