Description
The Spanish Friar Table, "Liria" style, was acquired by its current owner in Seville from a private residence in 1957. This exquisite table features a top crafted from OLIVE tree wood that is more than 250 years old, adding a touch of historical significance. The table itself dates to approximately the middle of the XVIII century, showcasing its timeless appeal.
The table also boasts original hand-made forged iron stretchers, enhancing its durability and authenticity. It holds a fascinating history as it was originally purchased by a Peruvian aristocratic family for their villa in Lima in 1957. Interestingly, this very villa now serves as the French embassy in Peru, making the table's origin all the more intriguing.
The table fits 8 comfortably -
