Incredible rare set of 10 leather Italian dining chairs by Ilmari Tapiovaara for La Permanente Mobili Cantù, circa 1950s. Wonderful thick saddle leather with great patina'd leather on solid beech wood frames with cylinder shape. Cognac leather has geometric half moon cut openings that attach the backrest to the seat. Visible joinery and incredible craftsmanship throughout - These chairs don't have a bad angle!
