  • Description
Absolute stunnning pair of 19th century nutwood Bergere chairs from the famous Biedermeier period in Vienna/ Austria around 1830. This remarkable set of rare Biedermeier armchairs has been elaborately restored in our restoration workshop. Impressing with elegantly shaped lines, these so-called "Bergere" chairs show an amazing looking mirror-matched walnut veneer work with outstanding grain. A traditional hand polished shellac finish reinforces the incredible look of the precious walnut surface. Newly upholstered with a light grey premium velvet, both armchairs provide a high quality spring core (still the original - revised) seating surface. Beside the exceptional design, these Biedermeier Bergeres don´t only look gorgeous, they are also super comfortable. An eyecatching, rare pair of 19th century Biedermeier armchairs coming in perfect restored condition.
