Description
A pair of "Champagne" chairs originally designed by Estelle and Erwine Laverne in 1957 as part of their Invisible Group of clear acrylic chairs that included the "Daffodil", "Lily", and "Jonquil" and "Buttercup" chairs. Inspired by Saarinen's Tulip chair model, the Champagne comprises a clear Perspex shell that is mounted onto a polished aluminum base that has a return swivel mechanism and a loose cushion upholstered in leather.
