Severin Hansen for Haslevs Møbelfabrik Teak 4-Drawer Scandinavian Desk, 1960s
-
Description
Designed in the early 1960s by Danish designer Severin Hansen, this desk was produced by Haslevs Møbelfabrik. This factory is generally known for its great construction, and this desk is no different. The tolerances at each corner are extremely tight, and combined with the pleasing proportions Hansen is known for, this desk has become one of the prime examples of Scandinavian Mid-Century design. This model is the larger of the two, featuring four drawers instead of three, and has been professionally and expertly refinished in a beautiful warm teak. You will love the design, practicality, and overall quality of this desk.
Condition: Expertly refinished. Includes hand-sanding, application of new finish and protective clear-coat, and hand-burnishing with wax. Ready to be used in your home office or project. -
