Handcrafted Italian sideboard of the 1960s in rosewood and brass
-
Description
Magnificent sideboard handmade in Italy in the late 1960s.
The buffet is an example of high cabinet-making, in its richness of details. Both the back part and the drawers inside, unlike what happened at the time, are in the same rosewood as the visible external parts. The vertical uprights at the corners and centrally are particularly elegant. In the centre, the upright serves to divide the two modules of which the buffet is made up. The top of the posts is a small decorative element on the surface plane.
The handles are made of brass, slightly oxidized. Inside, the two glass shelves were inserted by us, in place of the original ones, which were not recoverable.
The surface has been carefully restored, although some small scratches still can be seen. -
