French 17th Century Solid Oak Bonneterie

Description
This handsome carved solid oak bonneterie from France was made in the mid 1600’s. This heavy and sturdy antique cabinet has a single multi paneled door with a hand cut steel escutcheon plate and barrel hinges. The spring lock is in working condition, one key present. The interior has three 20” deep fixed shelves. Single door armoires or bonnetieres were made for storing your collection of bonnets, no doubt a luxury antique. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, this antique is in wonderful condition and ready for immediate use. Be sure to view the detailed images. Circa 1650
