Designed in the 1980s in Italy, these chairs were amde by Arrben, a small but prestigious design and manufacturing comany. Over the years, the 'Marilyn' chair evolved to eventually culminate in this gray and black set. Most Marilyn chairs featured rather strange wavy front legs, which took the idea of a stiletto chair and turned it on its head. These, however, feature perfectly straight front legs with a gentle curve to the back leg, which lend them an elegant and very sleek look. This is enhanced by the simpler design of the arms in relation to the back. Previous models tended to look complex to the point of busy, whereas these feature a simple triangle wrapped in a semi-circle shaped arm.

All this is complemented by very high-quality gray leather upholstery contrasting with a rare black chrome finish on the steel frame. These really are very handsome chairs with excellent build quality and visual appeal. You will love these chairs around your dining table.

In very good condition. Leather is in very good shape and chrome is virtaully spotless. Signed on the back of each chair with a 'Made in Italy' sticker and below the seat with an 'Arrben' stamp in the leather.
