Description
Minton Majolica vase which features three merboys supporting a vessel adorned with seaweeds. The rim of the vase is modelled to depict breaking waves. Turquoise ground version. Colouration: turquoise, green, cream, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1862.
