Born in England during the 19th century, this elegant brass bankers scale features a central shaft, connected in its upper section with a horizontal balance beam. This beam is supporting two circular pans with links, hung through small hooks while the scale is resting on a curving base. Highly decorative, this English 19th century brass bankers scale does not include weights, but will be a wonderful decorative accent perhaps displayed on console table, chest-of-drawers or buffet.
