An original oil on canvas by this wonderful American painter and Illustrator. This finely framed oil on canvas is in spectacular condition and bears great provenance, seen below. This painting was sold in 2007 in Christies NY for $115,540. The work has been sitting in a magnificent home in Greenwich CT since that time.

Abbott Fuller Graves (1859–1936) was an American painter and illustrator who specialized in decorative open air garden paintings and floral still-lifes. His use of thick brushstrokes, bright colors, and natural light shows the influence of European impressionism.
