Manhattan in Snow Storm - Gold Abstraction
-
Description
Street Photographer Mitchell Funk grabs a taxi moment in front of Grand Central Station. The image communicates the spirit of wintery New York, with skies filled with falling snow. The image is also a nod to Abstract Expressionism dip painting. Highlighted snowflakes take on the fluid viscosity of dripping paint that plummets from the sky in an all-over pattern and is bundled up in a glowing gold color.
This archival color photograph is signed, numbered 3/15, dated and titled and lower right recto. Other sizes are available and the fine art photograph is unframed and printed later. Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper
