Description
A French Louis XV period 18th century cherry buffet à deux-corps from the Loire Valley, with carved doors and apron. Created in the stunning Loire Valley (the French Valley of the Kings) during the 18th century, this cherry buffet à deux-corps features a molded cornice overhanging an upper cabinet showcasing carved doors opening to inner shelves. The lower section is made of two dovetailed drawers fitted with Rococo hardware, sitting above two additional doors, smaller in size but adorned with motifs echoed from the top. The ensemble is raised on four feet, scrolled in the front and straight in the back, and connected to one another through a scalloped apron present on three sides. With its elegant lines and lovely cherry patina, this Loire Valley Buffet à Deux-Corps will bring a touch of French refinement to any dining room or living room.
