Severin Hansen Rosewood desk table for Haslev Denmark 1960
-
Description
This is a beautiful desk table designed by Severin Hansen and produced by Haslev in Denmark in the early 1960. This freestanding piece is one of the most iconic Mid-Century desk ever designed, along with Bodil Kjaer one. It features four integral drawers providing ample storage space, each one with brass fitting, and their four original brass keys. This desk design is nicely minimalist in details, and very elegant, with angular details, tapered legs, and a beautiful and spacious varnished rosewood top with plenty of room for writing, drawing, and working in style. It has been fully restored with traditional stamp varnishing method, and is in mint condition, waiting for its new home.
