    An early example of a round dining table by George Nakashima, showcasing splay-legs.   The Splay-Leg, introduced in 1946, was one of George Nakashima's initial base designs. He later transitioned to using the turned leg.  This table is a rare example of the evolution of Nakashima's design process.
