Galleries, auction houses, and collectors suggest that Allen Brent is a pseudonym for the listed California artist, Wade Reynolds. Per AskART, Wade Reynolds (1929-2011) was born in New York. After studying electronics and trying his hand at design, he moved to California and became a painter. Reynolds is known for his portraits and figure painting. He taught at the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
