We would like to offer you this truly exquisite and rare Biedermeier cherry standing mirror (Psyche). The piece was made in Vienna circa 1825.
Viennese Biedermeier is distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
The mirror have beautiful cherry veneer with lovely light deep amber color and 200 years old patina.
The swinging suspension of the mirror gives all the possibilities to set the right angles.
The mirror is free-standing with an elegant decorative panel that covers the back of the mirror.
Beautiful details that you can see in the detailed photos and high quality workmanship further emphasize the uniqueness of this piece. A small drawer is discreetly placed under the mirror.
The brass hardware is original.
