Description
A French Louis XV style cherry wood table-chiffonnière from the 20th century with three small drawers and lower shelf. Created in France during the 20th century, this cherry wood side table, called a table-chiffonnière in French, was designed to be used for sewing or embroidery. Showcasing a petite rectangular top with small raised gallery and dark wooden banding, the table features a façade made of three small drawers fitted with bronze pulls and banding echoed from the top. Raised on four delicately curving legs securing a lower shelf with in-curving front, the table is adorned with a valanced apron.
