Description
A glamorous swivel lounge chair designed and manufactured by Vladimir Kagan (1927-2016) circa 1970-80s. Known as Ellipse or Crescent chair, the model was designed by Vladimir Kagan in 1976. The chair on offer features a brass clad base and a heavy linen upholstery with continuous back and arm support in the iconic shape of layered crescents. Comfort and stylish at the same time, the chair exemplifies the high society glamor of the disco age.
The model is illustrated on page 187 in the book The Complete Kagan. -
