A Pair of Italian Neoclassical Style Silvered and Gilt Upholstered Settee, Jansen
$55,000.00
Each with scrolled ends, upholstered à la Turque in brown, black, and silver figured silk with pale blue and cream silk braid, hung with silk tassels; raised on a circular tapered spiral fluted legs.
The Windsors converted this pair of daybeds into settees. Cushion and bolsters provided.
Provenance: The Duke & Duchess of Windsor. Removed from Windsor House, Bois de Boulogne, Paris
