Mid century lighting designer Paavo Tynell's Counterbalance pendant light Model No. A 1942 was made by Idman Oy, circa 1950s. This is an adjustable ceiling light made of a brass canopy and counterweight with a white enameled metal bell shaped reflector (9.75" diameter x 11.75" height) and convenient brass ring for raising and lowering. Impressed maker's mark "Idman" on the bracket.
