This captivating Mid-Century Modernist Textural Clear and Smoked Glass Chandelier with Chrome Fittings is by the esteemed glass artist Mazzega and originates from Italy, Circa 1970. Features a nested composition of hanging hand-blown glass elements in a mixture of clear and smoked hues, which reflect and diffuse the light of the fixture in stunning fashion. The glass elements are cross form and slightly curved at alternating directions, with natural variation between these elements due to the timeless techniques of Murano Glass manufacturing. Supported by chains that hang from a circular canopy in chrome, this piece is highly elegant and versatile, rendered in the highest quality materials. This Chandelier will style beautifully in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. Newly rewired to American Standards, and height can be adjusted to suit. Accommodates 4 Edison based bulbs offering 400 watts of light. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
