PAIR OF RESTAURATION PERIOD GILT AND PATINATED BRONZE CANDLESTICKS
CONVERTED TO TABLE LAMPS
Pair of early 19th century candlesticks , the candle holders in gilt bronze decorated with flowers and reeding sitting on octagonal
downward tapering column in patinated bronze. Circular gilt bronze base with leaf and berry decoration.
Retaining the original mercury gilding
France c. 1820.
Converted to lamps with faux candles and electrified for the UK. Shown with 14" gathered silk Empire shades available separately.
The candlesticks have not been drilled.
