Although presently made, this new rug richly draws from traditional oriental craft. It was carefully hand-knotted of top-notch wool and silk by a skilled artisan. Thanks to such thorough execution, its structure is resilient and durable while its pile is soft and luminous. Its design was inspired by Persian aesthetics – the main field carries an allover dense botanical pattern of meandering stylized leaves and florals which oozes elegance and dignity.
