A SET OF FOUR LOUIS XVI FAUTEUILS À LA REINE
BY CLAUDE-LOUIS MARIETTE, CIRCA 1780
Open arm chairs the arms with finely carved acanthus leaves the back and the seat surrounded by carved ribbon decoration,
the legs with carved fluting, upholstered in pink silk damask.
Stamped Mariette for Claude-Louis Mariette Maïtre 18th November 1765.
Mariette only worked for approximately 10 years, he is known for Louis XVI seat furniture, finely carved with traditional designs.
Condition: The chairs are in good condition the silk is worn across the fronts of the seats.
