Georg Jensen

Georg Jensen was a Danish silversmith and designer who founded the eponymous design company, Georg Jensen A/S, in Copenhagen in 1904. Jensen's style was characterized by his use of Art Nouveau and later Art Deco design elements, resulting in a distinct aesthetic that was both organic and geometric. His work in silverware, jewelry, and other decorative arts was highly influential, and his designs continue to be produced by Georg Jensen A/S today. Jensen's creations have been featured in exhibitions around the world, and his legacy as a pioneer of modern Scandinavian design remains strong.
