Raised in Hackensack, New Jersey, Oropallo's artistic journey was profoundly influenced by the pop art movement, particularly by iconic figures such as Andy Warhol, Jasper Johns, and Robert Rauschenberg. Her formative years were spent immersed in the vibrant world of these artistic pioneers, shaping her unique artistic vision.
 
Oropallo pursued her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Alfred University and later obtained her Masters of Fine Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
