Description
This Coffee Table is an early “Slab II” Type produced by George Nakashima for a client in 1954.
The top is a long, narrow slab of American Black Walnut with one straighter edge and one live-edge with figured grain. The top is supported by a masterfully joined base and balance point.
This rare early table is sold with a digital copy of the original invoice from George Nakashima as well as a letter of authentication from Mira Nakashima. -
