Charming 19th Century Windsor Chair With Spindle Turning and Dished Seat.
This lovely chair is made primarily of ash with yew back splats. It has tall and wide proportions giving it a real presence in a room and the spindle carving to the legs, stretchers and splats is very well executed.
The dished seat is a fine feature and the chair features a lovely untouched colour and patination throughout.
This will appeal to the furniture connoisseur as sadly many chairs of this type have been repolished over the years.
A fine rustic chair in lovely condition and ready to be placed. -
