19th Century Chinese Altar Table Rustic

Description
A early 19th century Altar table with carved apron, spandrels, and round legs having a solid one piece top. Wonderful patina small sized console table. Small tables like these where often used as small altars for ancestor remembrance. This particular piece has wear to the top that displays work use possibly cutting food. Many times these smaller tables also doubled as work stations for cooking when passed on over time. Original warm, worn rustic patina, Shanxi, circa 1800.
