On offer for your consideration we have a unique ceramic plaque made by Antonia Campi for Italian Ceramic Society of Laveno in 1955.
Antonia Campi was one of the most important designers that Italian Ceramic Society of Laveno ever had. She started in the late 1940's and immediately noticed by Guido Andlovitz for her ability and potential qualities and mover her into the artistic department.
With in her first 10 years she designed hundreds of objects of extraordinary artistic value and innovative characters.
This piece of Italian ceramics was created in a technique called sgraffito where the surface is hand curved to reveal a unique one of a kind design. Here you see a vase with a single flower on a blue background.
Inscribed on the reverse side in her own hand A.C. Absolutely unique piece. -
