  • Description
    Paul Mccobb Calvin Group five-drawer chest (model 1003) manufactured by Directional Furniture (ca. early 1950s, USA).
    Composed of a stained mahogany chest with brass tear-drop pulls supported by carved, tapered legs and brass 'x' stretchers. Mahogany grain has such vibrance that it appears to move as it is surveyed from different angles (what we call "action").
    The top two drawers are shallow, while the other three are more spacious.
    Excellent, restored condition with only minor wear remaining.
