Description
Extraordinary rustic Tramp Art wall mirror from the period around 1880 in Austria. This unique hand carved wooden mirror has been artfully crafted in the late 19th century out of basswood and shows a lovely dark brown surface finished with a semi-gloss varnish. Beside the gorgeous looking protruding pointed corners, this decorative rural tramp art mirror impresses with its chip carved designed broad framework. The still original leather loop on the back makes wall mounting easy. The mirror plate has been renewed during the restoration process.
