Description
A French Napoleon III ebonized marquetry and inlay writing desk. This statement table has an intricate inlay cartouche in the center of the ebonized marquetry table top. Thoughtful patterns continue around the table top and surround the apron which contains a single drawer with a working lock and key. Four tall carved and turned table legs connect with a decorative stretcher base. There is wear consistent with age, mostly on the table top, all pieces are secure, be sure to view the detailed images.
