Gio Ponti Attributed and Fils Edition Set of Three Armchairs, circa 1955
-
Description
Rare set of three armchairs attributed to Gio Ponti for the Boucher and Fils Edition manufactory in the 1950s.
The set is made with an ash wood frame. Its upholstery is in an elegant silk fabric of different colors, but in a pleasant way where the color changes from purple to lilac and finally to white. The special feature of the armchair is its geometrically shaped armrests and its perfectly conical feet are in line with the design of the armchair. Note its pure silk upholstery.
