Set of five original Biedermeier shovel chairs from Thuringia, Germany around 1830.
Cherry wood book-matched veneered on the shovel and apron. Cherry solid wood frame and legs.
Top with ebonized attachment.
Newly upholstered and covered in black fabric. Very good seating comfort.
Restored and hand-polished shellac.
