With its striking hexagonal framework, the stacked layers of The Kyoto give you the option to cover all in a single fabric, or mix-and-match different textiles on each level to create a statement finish.

Hand-built in our Cotswolds workshop, each piece is crafted using responsibly sourced components, including 100% natural latex foam and other natural materials. Designed with versatility in mind, its small footprint and lightweight nature make this an ideal functional piece to move around the home, providing additional comfortable seating or an extra tabletop surface when needed.

How Our Ottomans / Footstools Are Made
We build our ottomans up from a hardwood beech frame, using only traditional methods and materials. With layers of natural fibres and woollen waddings, there is no foam used in our footstools.

When feather and down filling is used, on the cushioned models, what makes them so comfortable is the high down content (50% down, 50% feather). The down gives the cushion lovely softness, while the feathers provide loft and spring.

The castors are individually hand-cast by traditional English metal crafters to a very high standard and a variety of finishes can be achieved. We use the antique brass finish as standard.

The legs can be either tapered or turned and come in a variety of woods and finishes. We use tapered medium oak legs as our standard finish, as shown here.

All of our furniture can be made completely bespoke. We want this to be your perfect ottoman, so if you want it a bit bigger or smaller, softer or firmer, or anything else just ask and we will do our best to accommodate.
