This fine early Biedermeier cherry bureau-commode is the best example of top-quality Viennese piece from circa 1825.

Viennese Biedermeier is distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.

This elegant Biedermeier piece has beautiful, highly figured cherry veneer with gorgeous light deep amber color and 200 hundred years old patina. The writing surface is ebonized.
The fitted interior with four drawers is veneered mostly in maple with ebonized accents.

The drawer with the writing surface pulls out easily.

The piece will be a great complement to any elegant interior. It does not matter whether it is a classic or modern interior because Biedermeier is simply timeless.
