Umberto Zannoni Grey Ceramic Vase with Squiggles, Signed
-
Description
Splendid ceramic vase signed Umberto Zannoni Faenza of fine Italian manufacture Zirardini in the 1950s. Signed, Original Label.
The marvellous vase has a round base from which the body of the vase rises in a very direct way, widening, then narrowing under the neck and then slightly widening again.
The vase is made entirely of grey ceramic with red yellow blue and green coloured ceramic squiggles.
The eclectic style is typical of Zannoni. The ceramic creates a very special colour effect, which makes the vase resemble stone.
The vase is a perfect decorative element in the eclectic mid-century style. -
