Large mirror with brass frame and integrated lamp, Italian manufacture, 1950s.
A mirror, when incorporated into interior design, always provides a reflection of light and color that adds depth and character to a space. This mirror, with its brass frame, is distinguished by the presence of an integrated wall lamp at the top.
Originating from a prominent optical shop in Rome that catered to both men's and women's vanity, it was available for customers to try on various models of prescription and sunglasses. The protruding integrated lamp consists of several light points concealed by a clear opaline glass sheet, a delicate glass that ensures a harmonious and even diffusion of light.
The entire design of the piece is meticulously crafted, and the proportions of the frame, with its elegant curves, seamlessly interact with the shelf lamp fixed at the top.
This mirror, of Italian manufacture, is an original from the 1950s and features a beautiful, thick reflective glass. Today, it can be placed in a large bathroom, an entryway to create atmosphere, or to complete a walk-in closet setup.
