Description
A fine pair of unusual ormolu mounted Chinese porcelain vases, each painted in famille rose enamels and gilt, of baluster form with a pleated neck and fo-dog handles, applied with gilt bronze leafy scrolls forming twisted arch handles and quadruped stands, the mounts signed ‘Tribout’, painted overall with panels enclosing courtly scenes and auspicious symbols on a white ground. Chinese and French circa 1860.
