Elegant pair of armchairs by Adrian Pearsall from the 1950s. The pair is part of a duet called: Him and Her, in fact the different sizes of the pair are denoted. The taller armchair in the 1950s was intended for the man, while the lower one for the woman. Both are upholstered in an elegant burgundy-purple velvet.
Note its curved rear feet on the inside, while the front feet have the typical 1950s shape, i.e. wooden conical. Both armchairs have two seat cushions and two back cushions, both with quilted buttons.
The backrests have a soft shape where its armrest is one with the backrest structure. Of great elegance, the pair of armchairs is ideal for classic furnishings with a modernist style and for classy living rooms.
