Original drawing of three Dutch children, with an ink inscription reading: “Full Page / 6 Buff / Three children sliding on the ice / upon a summer’s day” above image. Ink, watercolor, and gouache on linen. Illustration for Mother Goose Gems, McLoughlin Brothers, 1911. Signed “N.I.” Undated, circa 1910. Unframed, measuring approximately 14.25 x 10.5 inches and mounted onto the patterned board (possibly a wallpaper sample) measuring approx. 16 x 12.25 inches. Pencil production notation along the lower edge. Printed image to verso. Initialed N.I. lower left
