Set Of 6 Dining Chairs In Ashwood, Italy 1960's
-
Description
A set of chairs with flair and a striking appearance that are also excellent to sit on. These Italian-made dining room chairs are in the possession of these properties and have been completely restored and reupholstered in our workshop.
Design
The frames are made of ash wood with a lively flame drawing that provides the parts of the chair with a distinctive pattern. What is particularly striking are the almost black lines on the legs and the backrest. The front legs are round and angled slightly backwards and the hind legs are angled slightly forward. As a result, the seat also slopes slightly backwards for better seating comfort. Visually, the chairs therefore stand firmly on the ground. Curved parts between the legs provide robustness and add beautiful lines. The corners of the backrest show a beautiful tooth connection and then transition into a round shape which allows for a comfortable support of the spine.
Condition
As indicated at the beginning of this text, the chairs have been restored. All connections have been checked and repaired where necessary. All chairs have been reupholstered with an off-white fabric that forms a beautiful combination with the glossy finished ash wood. -
