A French rustic Napoléon III period wooden birdcage from the mid 19th century, with scrolling metal accents and baluster motifs. Created in France during the third quarter of the 19th century, this wooden birdcage, shaped as an elegant house, is topped with a slanted roof adorned with scrolling iron motifs on the front pediment. A petite baluster terrasse accentuates the presence of two arched windows while the lower section showcases the main door flanked with rustic columns. With its charming silhouette and nicely weathered quality, this French Napoléon III birdcage circa 1860 will bring a touch of authenticity to any home décor.
