    The Turk’s head folk cane of B. Phipps, dated 1831, probably sailor work, the top styled as a head with a trimmed beard and moustache wearing a turban pinned with a brass crescent, the gnarled wood shaft naively carved with Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, a pagoda, sprays of leaves, butterflies and a pineapple, incised ‘B. Phipps, His Stick, 1831’. English.

Wick Antiques was established by Charles Wallrock in the early 1980s. Having grown up in the Antiques world Charles developed an extensive wealth of knowledge.
