Description
A period Louis XIII French walnut side table with single drawer and barley-twist legs from the mid-17th century. Born at the end of the reign of King Louis XIII, father of the Sun King, this exquisite French walnut table features a rectangular top with beveled edges, sitting above a simple apron, adorned in its central part with a single fluted drawer opening thanks to a wooden pull. The top is raised on a stylish barley-twist turned base with square block joints, accented with a cross stretcher of the same style. The ensemble is raised on four bun feet.
